Re-elect Councillor Tanya Foubert

It has been an honour and a privilege to serve my community over the past four years as a councillor.

Being born and raised in Canmore, I feel an immense sense of pride in being able to envision the future of my community and share it with others.

That is why I am seeking re-election for a second term as a councillor for the Town of Canmore.

We will always face challenges as a community. But when we face them together, with strong leadership and a focus on problem solving, I know the future is bright for this very special place we call home.

This is hard work. It takes a commitment to something greater than yourself to succeed. It takes a willingness to accept what you cannot change, the courage to change what you can, and the ability to distinguish between the two.

It also takes great humility to be a leader. I have learned a great deal in the past four years as an elected official. I have grown as a person and gained new skills as a leader. It has been an enriching experience.

I put my name forward in 2021 because I could help make Canmore a place where there are still opportunities for everyone, where the community comes first. Now, I’m seeking re-election to continue that work.

I have a vision for the future of the community I love, and it is a bright one, full of opportunities for everyone who chooses to call this special place home.
