It has been an honour and a privilege to serve my community as a councillor for the past four years.

Being born and raised in Canmore, I feel an immense sense of pride in envisioning the future of my community and sharing it with others. Being able to represent my community, and hear directly from those who live here, make this a truly rewarding role.

That is why I am seeking re-election for a second term as a councillor for the Town of Canmore.

We will always face challenges as a community. But when we face them together, with strong leadership and a focus on problem-solving, I know the future is bright for this very special place we call home.

This is hard work. It takes a commitment to something greater than yourself to succeed. It takes a willingness to accept what you cannot change, the courage to change what you can, and the ability to distinguish between the two.

It also takes great humility to be a leader. In the past four years as an elected official, I have learned much, grown as a person, and gained new skills as a leader. It has been an enriching experience.

I put my name forward in 2021 because I could help make Canmore a place where there are still opportunities for everyone, where the community comes first. Now, I’m seeking re-election to continue that work.

I have a vision for the future of the community I love, and it is a bright one, full of opportunities for everyone who chooses to call this special place home.
