ABMunis Board Nomination
I am excited to share that I am seeking the role of director on the ABMunis board of directors representing Towns South. I look forward to connecting with my fellow elected officials at the upcoming convention in Red Deer.
Be the change you want to see in the world
I love my role as a town councillor in Canmore. But I also know I can do more and that is why I am seeking the nomination for the NDP for the Banff-Kananaskis riding in the next provincial election.

Remaining neutral on Three Sisters Mountain Village development plans
I want the future decisions of council to be bulletproof and to stand the test of legal appeal. That means taking the oath of office and legislated role an elected municipal official in Alberta holds seriously, and reserving my judgement on this matter.
Public Pressure needed on ambulance coverage issue
Prior to Alberta Health Services taking over ambulance services in 2010, it was a policy of the Town of Canmore to always keep one EMS crew in the community at all times. A decade later, paramedics and emergency room doctors are calling on the province to reconsider how it transfers local ambulances out of town, and sometimes the entire valley, on a regular basis.
My Platform
My platform is centred around priorities we must focus our efforts on immediately as a council and community. Reconciliation; housing and affordability; climate change; tourism; human use management and wildlife connectivity – these are some complex problems to solve and that is why I am running in the Oct. 18. 2021 municipal election as a candidate for town councillor.
Why run for Canmore Council?
Canmore faces difficult and challenging problems in the future and we need leaders that are willing and capable of doing this job. I am putting my name forward as candidate for councillor because I believe I would be an asset to the next council and the community.
Land Acknowledgement
The next council’s role will be to continue this important work and support all efforts in our community that strive toward truth and reconciliation.
